Language Therapy
We are specialized in evaluating and treating auditory comprehension and expressive language skills. Treatment can facilitate improvements in areas such as following instructions, understanding and providing narratives, grammar and syntax use, and Auditory Processing Disorders.

Speech Articulation and Phonology
Children develop speech sounds as they grow and mature. When children have difficulty articulating sounds, it makes it difficult to understand their speech and can lead to frustration. Speech therapy can improve articulation skills for the child that is struggling to form sounds, as well as improve phonological development and difficulties related to Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Fluency/Stuttering
Children develop speech and language skills very quickly. This fast-paced development paired with their temperament and other outside factors may stress their language capabilities. Some children develop stuttering, which can be extremely frustrating for them and their family members. Fluency treatment is child-led, meeting children at their level of development and fostering a supportive and understanding sessions to improve their communication.

Feeding and Oral Motor Therapy
Children can demonstrate sensory or motor difficulties that impact their ability so safely eat and swallow. We support children and their families to develop strategies to improve overactive gag responses, limited diets, hypotonia of facial and oral structures, and dysphagia. Treatments include oral-motor and sensory-based feeding techniques, as well as Beckman Oral-Motor intervention.

Pragmatic Social Skills
Pragmatic therapy provides opportunities and instruction to help children develop successful social skills. Treatment can improve areas such as joint attention, turn-taking, attention span, and conversational skills.

Accent Modification
Therapy techniques support improving clarity, building confidence in professional settings, and refining specific sounds to effectively communicate.
